You’re probably wondering to yourself…
How much does a business coach cost?
A business coach costs anywhere from $100 to $1,000 per one-hour session, depending on experience, subject matter, and scheduling demands. Some executive coaches will also take a percentage of the sales that they help create. Alternatively, some business coaches offer reasonable monthly programs at $50 or less.
The type of business coach you need will determine how much your coaching session costs.

How Much Does it Cost to Hire a Business Coach? How Much Should I Pay for a Business Coach?
These may sound like similar questions, but they’re actually different, so I thought I’d include them in the same section for comparison’s sake.
But, a quick reminder would be that there’s a difference between what a business coach costs and what you should pay for a business coach.
Call it semantics, but there’s actually a pronounced difference.
Let’s discuss:
- How much does it cost to hire a business coach?

Time to dive a little deeper!
How Much Does it Cost to Hire a Business Coach?
Business coaches vary greatly.
It’s kind of like how you walk into a supermarket and want to make a fruit salad, but there are sooooo many different kinds of fruits that you don’t know what to choose.
It’s the same deal with business coaches and their costs.
Unfortunately, they’re not all the same.
On average, business coaches will charge between $150 to $350 per one-hour session.
Of course, that’s industry- and niche-specific and you really won’t know how much a coach costs until they tell you. It’s also based on the coach’s experience, which you have no control over.
But, please be aware that not all business coaches were created equally and just because a business coach costs more does NOT mean that they are of a higher quality.
Some coaches overinflate their impact and charge accordingly when they can’t really write a check that their ass will cash.
Look for coaches that charge genuinely and have standard prices instead of trying to price based on your income.
How Much Should I Pay for a Business Coach?
Business coaches will typically hide away their costs until you’re ready to commit for the simple reason that they want you to NOT have an objection to the price.
At that point, you’re pretty much already committed and you’ve visualized the transformation.
You’re willing to fork over the change.
Because for them, they don’t want to have invested all that time for nothing. You’re just about as hot a lead as they get.
But, don’t pay big bucks for a coach that can’t actually do what they say. You should pay a business coach what you view as an appropriate coaching rate for the services and if one coach can’t match you, then find another.
I know plenty of inexpensive business coaches that make wonderful impacts and high-priced ones that create a lot of mystique and don’t show their results.
Pay what you think the transformation is worth.
And, in some cases, if a business coach can help you make more money, then a higher cost may be warranted…
But NOT always.
How Much Does a Blogging Coach Cost?
Blogging coaches are a special breed…
They need to have a lot of patience and not everyone is suited to be a blogging coach.
Before I get too ahead of myself, let’s go over:
- Why you might need a blogging coach
- Types of program structures offered by blogging coaches

Time to go a little deeper!
Why You Might Need a Blogging Coach
There are many reasons why you might want a blogging coach.
Let’s go over a few:
- Your growth has stagnated and you need help fixing it
- You’re a new blogger that needs help getting up to snuff
- You need help with a specific discipline (Pinterest traffic, SEO, content creation, etc.)
- You’ve grown too quickly and need help outsourcing, scaling, and setting up systems
Whatever the reason, hiring a blogging coach or a side hustle coach is a perfectly suitable conclusion to come to.
It’s worked for me!
The important thing is to choose a coach that can help you accomplish what you want. Don’t let them derail your outcomes. You control what you need help with, but let them help you get there.
Types of Program Structures Offered by Blogging Coaches
Blogging coaches (and, business coaches, too) offer different program structures.
I see this a lot with the various high-ticket coaches that end up in my Facebook newsfeed.
There are a few models you should be aware of:
- One-on-One
- Group
- Self-Paced
Another way to frame this is how the action is done:
Coaching services might be seen called:
- Done-for-You
- Done-With-You
- Done-by-You
One-on-One coaching programs will ALWAYS cost more because of the effort put into each person. It’s a significant time investment and you pay for that, typically upfront.
You may also be familiar with mastermind-level coaching programs that charge you by the thousands yearly.
And, coaching programs will have different lengths.
I’ve seen:
- One-hour sessions
- 30-day intensives
- Monthly memberships
- 3-month programs
- Year-long programs
And just about anything in between.
As a coach, I like starting out with a one-hour session because you get to vibe with the coach before going all-in.
How Much Does a Blogging Coach Cost?
As I’ve said before, coaches are all over the map with costs.
You’ll typically find blogging coaches that cost between $100 and $350 for one-hour sessions, $50 to $100+ for monthly memberships, and $1,000+ monthly for masterminds.
As I’ve said before, you really need to make sure you choose the blogging coach that suits you.
Many of my blogging friends offer coaching (and I trust them to produce results), so if you need some help, let me know in the comments below and I would be happy to offer a recommendation.
Or, pop into my Facebook group and you can scout them out for yourself.
I’ll conclude the blogging coach section by reiterating the importance of finding a blogging coach that has done what you want to do and has found a replicable formula, approach, or system for it.
Seek out people who’ve done that kind of coaching and see what they paid for it before stripping your bank account of its precious dollars.
How Much Do Executive Coaches Charge Per Hour?
Executive coaches are typically going to be more expensive.
They have an incredible deal of experience and it very well may be worthwhile to get an executive coach to help you run your:
- Blogging business
- Consulting business
- Service-based business
If you want to think like an executive would, sometimes you need their input and guidance.
Executive coaches will charge between $400 and $1,000 for a one-hour session and may even take a 5% to 25% cut of the increase in sales they created.
Instead of focusing on the costs of an executive coach, focus on the results.
Conclusion
Remember that when it comes to business coaching and its costs, focus on the results and not the costs themselves. Ask yourself if the results are realistic and obtainable and if so, are you willing to put in the work for it.
If you answered yes, then how much a business coach costs will be irrelevant.
The better question is…
How much are your results worth?

Is a professional/certified business coach can do blogging coach? Is that easy?
Hey Pierre! A business coach can advise on the business of blogging, but they might not have all the technical knowledge of a blog. Some coaches do cross over. I’d highly recommend finding a coach that’s specific to blogging if that’s what you want to focus on.
What do you mean by blogging coach?
Hey Jowanna! A blogging coach is someone who helps you learn how to be successful at blogging 🙂
